TEAM:Derby County
GROUND:Pride Park
FIRST VISIT:8th December 2007
FIRST MATCH:Brazil 2-0 Ukraine – International Friendly
I have been to Pride Park twice. First time was on 8th December 2008 when I visited for a brief look round during one of our ground trips. The ground was all locked up and with no one around we couldn’t get in.
Then on 11th October 2010 I went to my first ever international match to watch Brazil face Ukraine at the home of Derby County. As soon as I heard that Brazil were playing at Pride Park, I was desperate to go, as it isn’t every day Brazil are playing just an hour away, and the day lived up to the excitement. It was a memorable day where I saw Brazil live in action and I even got a picture with Ukraine’s Andriy Shevchenko!
