Manchester United

TEAM: Manchester United

GROUND: Old Trafford

FIRST VISIT: 23rd July 2003

FIRST MATCH: N/A (Ground Tour)

With a capacity of 76,212, Manchester United’s Old Trafford is the biggest football stadium in the English football league and the second biggest in the country only beaten by Wembley Stadium.

I have visited the stadium twice. My first visit was back in 2003 when I went on a ground tour of Old Trafford. I was only 7 years old and cant really remember that much about the day however it was still a great experience to go on a ground tour of Old Trafford. The second visit was 10th February 2008 during a trip round many grounds in Lancashire. It was the anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster and United were at home to Manchester City (they would lose later that day). There was a great atmosphere outside and Old Trafford really is a great football ground.
