On Wednesday 24th April 2014, I went to the Crucible Theatre to watch Mark Davis play Dominic Dale in the World Snooker Championship.

On Saturday 8th March 2014, I went to see ‘Such Sights’ live at Corporation in Sheffield, supported by ‘Secret Romance’, ‘Or Die Trying’ and more!

On Sunday 23rd February 2014, I went to see alternative four-piece Cause of Denial headline The Hop in Sheffield.

Take The Seven are one of the most popular bands in the local Sheffield music scene. Hailing from nearby Chesterfield, the five piece consists of Dan Molloy (vocals), Si Redfern (guitar), James Hall (guitar), Joe Kitson (bass) and Gaz Oldale (drums) who create an exciting and memorable sound.

Defeater put on a truly brilliant show on the fourth night of their European Tour at Sheffield’s Corporation. Alongside support from ‘Goodtime Boys’, ‘More Than Life’ and the outstanding ‘Caspian’, the five piece from Boston, Massachusetts blew the rapturous crowd away with their performance on an unforgettable night.

Billed as the UK’s number one tribute to Foo Fighters, the UK Foo Fighters headed to Sheffield on Friday 13th December for the final date of their Hiatus Tour. The band played a fantastic two hour set of classic Foo’s songs that left the Sheffield crowd buzzing. One of the best tribute acts around, this has to be as close as it gets to seeing Dave Grohl and co. for real!

The world’s first tribute act and number one tribute to The Beatles, the Bootleg Beatles returned to the Sheffield City Hall for their Christmas show on Thursday 12th December 2013. In front of a crowd of all ages, the group performed hits from every stage of the Beatles’ incredible career and magnificently recreated the experience of seeing the most famous band of all time live.
