Welcome to my fourth Q&A with stars of the Snooker world.
Current World Number 67 Matt Selt is the latest snooker star to be interviewed on ryan147.com. Matt reached the quarter finals of the recent pro challenge by beating Mark Boyle, Barry Pinches and Robert Milkins (all 4-2) before losing to Alan McManus 4-1. Matt got back on the main tour in 2007 via the PIOS and his best ranking performance to date came in the 2008 Welsh Open where he reached the last 48 stage.
When did you start playing snooker?
I started playing snooker at the age of 12, made my first century at 14 and first maximum at 15.

Mark Williams and Matthew Stevens
What is your personal career highlight?
Yet to be achieved!

Tiger Woods and Roger Federer

The World Championships
What is your favourite Snooker Venue?
The Crucible Theatre in Sheffield
What was your highlight last season?
Beating Liu Song 9-8 from 8-6 down in the UK Championship qualifiers.
What are your goals for the coming season?
To win as many matches as I can and give 100% every match.
When you are not playing or have lost in a tournament do you still watch the games on TV.
I always watch snooker when its on.
