Nothing But Thieves – Live at The Leadmill, Sheffield

NBT1

Nothing But Thieves headlined in Sheffield for the first time in style with an unforgettable performance at The Leadmill.

Currently in the middle of a tour with Muse, which included a set at London’s O2 Arena just over a week earlier, Nothing But Thieves thrilled a sellout crowd in Sheffield on this Monday evening.

Support for the evening was provided by the powerful Exeter rock group ‘Black Foxxes’, who brought a mass of energy to the stage, before ‘Sundara Karma’ prepared Sheffield for their performance at Tramlines Festival in July with an impressive set that included ‘Run Away’ and ‘Loveblood’.

A huge cheer greeted the much anticipated arrival of the five members of the headline act to the stage. And they did not disappoint, kicking off with ‘Itch’ before running through a setlist of tracks befitting of stadiums including ‘Graveyard Whistling’, ‘Excuse Me’ and ‘Wake Up Call’ before leaving the stage temporarily.

After the teasing the crowd for as long as they could handle, the band finally returned to the stage once more for a hugely impressive encore of ‘If I Get High’ and ‘Trip Switch’ before finishing off with arguably their most popular and upbeat track ‘Ban All The Music’ to round off the evening perfectly.
