Sheffield’s Inherit the Stars kicked off their first ever UK tour in style on Saturday night with a performance that had the hometown crowd going crazy.

Billed as the UK’s number one tribute to Foo Fighters, the UK Foo Fighters headed to Sheffield on Friday 13th December for the final date of their Hiatus Tour. The band played a fantastic two hour set of classic Foo’s songs that left the Sheffield crowd buzzing. One of the best tribute acts around, this has to be as close as it gets to seeing Dave Grohl and co. for real!

The world’s first tribute act and number one tribute to The Beatles, the Bootleg Beatles returned to the Sheffield City Hall for their Christmas show on Thursday 12th December 2013. In front of a crowd of all ages, the group performed hits from every stage of the Beatles’ incredible career and magnificently recreated the experience of seeing the most famous band of all time live.

On Monday 18th November 2013, I went to the Sheffield Motorpoint Arena to see the Arctic Monkeys play live on their AM Tour.

In my latest interview with Sheffield bands, I met up with ‘For Our Futures’ ahead of their headline slot at the O2 Academy on the 19th October to discuss the show and the history of one of Sheffield’s fastest growing groups.

On Saturday 21st September 2013, I went to see Sheffield band Inherit the Stars headline the O2 Academy in their home city. I was also given the opportunity to interview the band ahead of the show and you can read about their thoughts and feelings on the show, their debut album and much more below.

On Wednesday 21st August 2013, I visited London and went on a Beatles sites tour, as well as visiting a few other places in the capital along the way.

On 18th June 2013, I went to the Sheffield Motorpoint Arena to watch The Who perform their Quadrophenia album live in its entirety, as well as some of the bands greatest hits.

On 30th May 2013, I went on a tour of the Casbah Coffee Club in Liverpool, arguably the true birthplace of The Beatles.

On 30th May 2013, I went on my second ‘Fab Four Taxi Tour’ in Liverpool. This time we visited some of the more obscure Beatles locations, including former homes of all four members of the band as well as many other places along the way.
