Sir Paul McCartney rocked London solo for the 50th time in his incredible career on a truly unforgettable night at the O2 Arena on Saturday 23rd May 2015.
In his first full UK concert for more than three years, the 72 year-old performed a 40-song setlist that lasted nearly three hours and spanned the full-range of his incomparable music career.
On Wednesday 21st August 2013, I visited London and went on a Beatles sites tour, as well as visiting a few other places in the capital along the way.
On 30th May 2013, I went on a tour of the Casbah Coffee Club in Liverpool, arguably the true birthplace of The Beatles.
On 30th May 2013, I went on my second ‘Fab Four Taxi Tour’ in Liverpool. This time we visited some of the more obscure Beatles locations, including former homes of all four members of the band as well as many other places along the way.
On Thursday 13th December 2012, I went to watch the Bootleg Beatles play live at the Sheffield City Hall.
From Sunday 12th August to Tuesday 14th August, I stayed in Liverpool and visited Mathew Street, home of the world famous Cavern Club. You can read about the street and see photos below.
On Monday 13th August 2012 I went on a tour of the Beatles sites of Liverpool. We went on the ‘Fab Four Taxi Tour’ and were taken on the tour by tour guide Ian Doyle, who did a brillant job of showing us around the sites and he was very passionate about the Beatles.
