Skegness Town FC Ground Visit

skegnesstown

Skegness Town’s Burgh Road is the latest ground to visited by me. Skegness Town currently play in the Sills and Betteridge Lincolnshire League.

After a 10 minute walk to find the ground we arrived to a large sign outside the ground. With no one aroud and no obvious entrance it took a while to find a way in. However we did eventually manage to get inside the ground and we were greeted to probably one of the worst grounds we have visited so far.

There was one small stand on one side which had wooden seating down either side propped up by bricks.Another end of the ground had nothing but overgrown bushes and litter and the rest was just standing area.

We stayed about 30 minutes before leaving, please look below for photos of the ground.

  1. It used to be a decent ground when they played in the Midland League. Today they are happy to mess around in the Lincolnshire League going nowhere.
