Alfreton Town came from behind to earn a replay with League 2 side Newport County in the FA Cup 1st Round.
The non-league club, appearing in the first round proper for only the eighth time in their history, had the better of the first period but fell behind to a 65th-minute Josh Sheehan strike.
However, the Reds levelled nine minutes later courtesy of Terry Kennedy’s first goal for the club, which ultimately proved enough to deservedly force a replay.
On Saturday 9th November 2013, I went to the Proact Stadium to watch Chesterfield take on non-league Daventry Town in the FA Cup 1st Round.
On Saturday 12th November I was at the B2Net Stadium to see Chesterfield’s first ever FA Cup tie at the new ground against League 2 Torquay United.

Currently ranked 71st in the provisional rankings, Pagett defeated Zhang Anda, Bjorn Haneveer, Nigel Bond and Andrew Higginson to book his place at the Crucible for the first time in his career. The Welshman will now face Jamie Cope in his first ever match at the final stages of a ranking event.
