As a Chesterfield supporter, the 2010-11 season has been one that I will never forget. After leaving Saltergate and moving to our new home of the B2Net Stadium, I knew that it would be an exciting time to be a Spireite, but the way the season has gone it has surpassed mine and everyone else’s expectations.
On Saturday 7th May 2011 I was at the B2Net Stadium to witness Chesterfield finally be crowned NPower League 2 Champions.
On Saturday 23rd April 2011, I visited the Kassam Stadium for the first time to watch officially promoted Chesterfield face Oxford United.
On Saturday 2nd April 2011 I went to the B2Net Stadium to watch League 2 leaders Chesterfield take on Port Vale.
On Friday 18th March 2011 I was at the B2Net Stadium to watch Chesterfield take on local rivals Rotherham United.
On 1st March 2011 I was back at the B2Net Stadium to watch Chesterfield play Wycombe in a first versus second place title clash.
On Tuesday 2nd November I went to the B2Net Stadium to watch league-leaders Chesterfield continue their amazing run against Accrington Stanley.
