Black Honey headlined a superb Friday night of live music that the sold-out crowd at Sheffield’s Picture House Social won’t be forgetting in a hurry.

The world’s number one tribute to Sheffield’s Arctic Monkeys, the Antarctic Monkeys, embarked on the steel city’s Plug venue for yet another unforgettable performance. I spoke with the quartet prior to the show to find out more about life as a tribute band.

Supported by the entertaining Ryan O’Reilly, who was performing his first ever show in the steel city, the 30-year-old singer-songwriter headlined with a memorable performance that included new tracks including the album’s title track and ‘Loose Change For Boatman’, as well as past material that got the crowd going including ‘Bam Bam’ and ‘Love Lust’ – which ended the set on a high.
