Bring Me The Horizon took part in a meet and greet with hundreds of fans on Friday 7th November at Drop Dead in Sheffield as they launched their new clothing line ‘Horizon Supply Co’.

Saint Motel made a wonderful first impression on Sheffield as they made their first visit on Thursday 6th November 2014. The American band had the steel city crowd moving and singing-along to a number of catchy tracks including their hit single ‘My Type’.

Twin Atlantic headlined Sheffield’s O2 Academy on Wednesday 29th October 2014 as part of their UK Tour following the release of their third album ‘Great Divide’.
Supported by ‘Nothing But Thieves’ and ‘The Xcerts’, the highly-rated Scottish rockers put on a superb live performance that left the Sheffield crowd buzzing.

Reverend and The Makers thrilled a sellout crowd at Sheffield’s O2 Academy on 24th October 2014. Celebrating their 10th anniversary as a band, they performed the albums ‘The State of Things’ and ‘A French Kiss In The Chaos’ in full on the first of two shows in their hometown this weekend.

‘Feed The Rhino’ lifted the roof off of Sheffield’s Corporation on the penultimate night of their UK tour following the release of their latest album. In front of a rampant sellout crowd on 23rd October 2014, the hardcore rockers from Kent tore through a set of both old and new material, including tracks from their newest LP ‘The Sorrow and The Sound’ released in June. John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten) shocked and entertained a crowd of over 700 people at the Octagon Centre in Sheffield on 15th October 2014 as he promoted his new autobiography as part of the city’s ‘Off The Shelf Festival’.

Sheffield’s Inherit the Stars just get better and better! The alternative band made their debut on the Main Stage at Corporation on Saturday 27th September and they did not disappoint with a dynamic performance that showcased both old songs and some of the new material from forthcoming EP ‘Beyond The Beacons’.

The Pigeon Detectives treated a crowd of largely freshers students to a fantastic performance on Friday 26th September at Plug in Sheffield.

Tramlines is a music festival that has been hosted in Sheffield annually since 2009. The event takes place across multiple venues around the city, including The Leadmill, Corporation, the main stage at Devonshire Green and many others. A former UK Festival award winner, July 22nd and 23rd of this year’s 3-day festival saw my first visit to my hometown’s biggest music event.
