England 2-0 France – International Friendly

England defeated France 2-0 on a poignant and memorable evening at Wembley Stadium.

Dele Alli’s first ever England goal opened the scoring before all-time scorer and captain Wayne Rooney secured the victory early in the second half.

But the result was secondary as the 129 victims of last week’s Paris attacks were honoured in a touching show of solidarity between the two nations.

Nottingham Forest 1-1 Millwall – Championship

On 11th September 2010 I went to watch Nottingham Forest play Millwall at the City Ground. This was the first time I had seen a match at the ground, though I did briefly walk around outside back in 2008.

B2Net Stadium Visit

On 13th March 2010, before going to watch Chesterfield play Port Vale at Saltergate, we visited Chesterfield’s new ground, the B2Net Stadium. The ground is coming along well now and it is due to be finished for the start of the 2010/11 season. Being with my Dad’s friend Andy meant we could get a little closer.
