Chesterfield travelled to Fleetwood Town on Tuesday night for the first leg on the Johnstone’s Ppaint Trophy Northern Area Final. The Spireites ran out 3-1 winners to put themselves within touching distance of a return to Wembley. The matchday programme for this game at Highbury Stadium featured a two-page article I had written about Chesterfield’s former home, Saltergate. On Saturday 10th November, I was invited to spend a day with the Notts County media team at Meadow Lane for their game against Crawley Town in League 1.
On Wednesday 25th July 2012, I went to Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United, to visit the museum and go on a short tour to get some pictures inside one of the most famous stadiums in the world.

On Saturday 16th October I went to watch Handsworth play Louth Town in the Koolsport North East Counties Division 1.
On Wednesday 6th October I went to Hillsborough to watch Chesterfield face Sheffield Wednesday in the 2nd round of the Johnstones Paint Trophy.
On 11th September 2010 I went to watch Nottingham Forest play Millwall at the City Ground. This was the first time I had seen a match at the ground, though I did briefly walk around outside back in 2008.
On Saturday 7th August I went to watch Chesterfield play Barnet in the first ever league match at the new B2Net Stadium.
On Saturday and Sunday the 23rd and 24th of May I was invited to the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield as Media Officer for the EASB (English Association of Snooker and Billiards) finals weekend.
