
On Saturday 23rd January 2010 I visited Villa Park for the first ever time to watch them Aston Villa play Brighton and Hove Albion in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

On Saturday 2nd January I went to Saltergate to watch Chesterfield play Shrewsbury Town in the first game at Saltergate in 2010.

On Wednesday December 2nd 2009 I visited Chesterfield to watch them play Crewe Alexandra in the final ever scheduled evening game at the Saltergate.

On 14th November 2009 I visited Rochdale’s Spotland Stadium for the first time to watch them play Chesterfield in a vital game at the top of League 2.

On Saturday 7th November I went to watch a match at Stockport County’s Edgeley Park for the first time. They were playing Tooting and Mitcham United of the Ryman Premier Division in the FA Cup 1st Round.

On Tuesday 27th October 2009 I went to watch Chesterfield’s youth side play Mansfield Town youth in the first round of the FA Youth Cup. The game was held at Saltergate and the attendance was higher than we had seen at some of the non-league tuesday night games.

On Tuesday 13th October 2009 I went to Belper Town’s Christchurch Meadow to watch them play the oldest football club in the world, Sheffield FC. This was in the first round of the Presidents Cup

On 10th October 2009 I visited Parkgate’s home, the Roundwood Sports Complex, to watch them face Scarborough Athletic in the Koolsport North Counties East League Premier Division. Scarborough Athletic were top of the league coming into this match.
