As a Chesterfield supporter, the 2010-11 season has been one that I will never forget. After leaving Saltergate and moving to our new home of the B2Net Stadium, I knew that it would be an exciting time to be a Spireite, but the way the season has gone it has surpassed mine and everyone else’s expectations.

On Saturday 7th May 2011 I was at the B2Net Stadium to witness Chesterfield finally be crowned NPower League 2 Champions.
On Monday 2nd May I was at the Crucible for the final day of the 17 day marathon to watch the third session of the final.
On Saturday 30th April 2011, I was at the Crucible Theatre for the semi finals of the World Championship watching two former world champions John Higgins and Mark Williams battle it out for a place in the final.
On Tuesday 26th April I was once again at the Crucible Theatre, this time watching the Quarter Final between Mark Williams and Mark Allen.
I also went down to the Crucible on Thursday 28th April, and this report includes pictures from both days.
On Sunday 24th April 2011, I was back at the Crucible Theatre for Day 9 of the Betfred.com World Snooker Championship, today watching the first sessions of the second round match between Stuart Bingham and Ding Junhui.
On Saturday 23rd April 2011, I visited the Kassam Stadium for the first time to watch officially promoted Chesterfield face Oxford United.
On Friday 22nd April 2011 I was back on the Crucible on a beautiful sunny day for the second session of Martin Gould v Judd Trump.
