
On Saturday 12th December I met professional darts player Peter ‘One Dart’ Manley.

On Sunday 6th December 2009 I went to the Telford International Centre to watch day 2 of the Pukka Pies UK Championship.

On Wednesday December 2nd 2009 I visited Chesterfield to watch them play Crewe Alexandra in the final ever scheduled evening game at the Saltergate.

On 14th November 2009 I visited Rochdale’s Spotland Stadium for the first time to watch them play Chesterfield in a vital game at the top of League 2.

On Saturday 7th November I went to watch a match at Stockport County’s Edgeley Park for the first time. They were playing Tooting and Mitcham United of the Ryman Premier Division in the FA Cup 1st Round.

On Tuesday 27th October 2009 I went to watch Chesterfield’s youth side play Mansfield Town youth in the first round of the FA Youth Cup. The game was held at Saltergate and the attendance was higher than we had seen at some of the non-league tuesday night games.

On Tuesday 13th October 2009 I went to Belper Town’s Christchurch Meadow to watch them play the oldest football club in the world, Sheffield FC. This was in the first round of the Presidents Cup

On 10th October 2009 I visited Parkgate’s home, the Roundwood Sports Complex, to watch them face Scarborough Athletic in the Koolsport North Counties East League Premier Division. Scarborough Athletic were top of the league coming into this match.

On Tuesday 6th October 2009 I continued to follow Chesterfield’s run in Johnstone’s Paint Trophy after watching Chesterfield’s 5-1 win over Burton Albion in round 1. Tonight I was watching the Spireites play League 1 side, Huddersfield Town in a classic match full of drama.
