Current World Number 67 Matt Selt is the latest snooker star to be interviewed on ryan147.com. Matt reached the quarter finals of the recent pro challenge by beating Mark Boyle, Barry Pinches and Robert Milkins (all 4-2) before losing to Alan McManus 4-1. Matt got back on the main tour in 2007 via the PIOS and his best ranking performance to date came in the 2008 Welsh Open where he reached the last 48 stage.

Stuart Bingham Q&A

Welcome to my third Q&A with stars of the Snooker world.

Straight from winning the Paul Hunter English Open in Leeds Stuart Bingham is third to be interviewed on ryan147.com. The current world number 21 beat Simon Bedford 6-0 in the final of the English Open but only won five matches in all of the 2008/09 season. However he did qualify for the World Championship beating Alan McManus in the final qualifying round before losing to Ronnie O’Sullivan 10-5.

Daniel Wells Q&A

Welcome to the first in a series of Q&A’s on ryan147.com where I am going to be interviewing snooker players, and other people in the snooker world .

Up and coming young star Daniel Wells is the first in my series who I interviewed on Thursday 16th July 2009. The 2008/09 was his first season on the main tour after finishing 5th in the PIOS the season to secure his spot. In his first season he managed to stay on the tour by reaching the 3rd Qualifying Round of the Bahrain and Welsh Tournaments and by reaching the final qualifying round of the World Championship by beating Li Hang, Ian Preece and Marcus Campbell all 10-9 before losing 10-9 to Barry Hawkins at the final hurdle before the Crucible.
